ITWORX Education Shares it’s Education Know-How at BETT Middle East 2016

In its continuous efforts to revolutionize education around the globe, ITWORX Education, an award-winning education services provider, took part in the first BETT Middle East 2016 held in Abu Dhabi from April 6-7. A sister event to the leading EMEA education technology conference and tradeshow, BETT UK, the company’s participation in BETT ME took place in cooperation with the technology giant Microsoft. ITWORX Education showcased a host of innovative education solutions including WinjiGo, its latest proprietary e-learning platform, and EduShare, an e-learning content repository.

WinjiGo was born out of the company’s mission to catalyze transformative change in the education landscape through technology that’s inspiring, groundbreaking and accessible. Launched at BETT UK, WinjiGo enables an unlimited learning experience for individuals across the globe. Designed as an interactive learning experience, the platform’s key strength lies in a powerful combination of rich features that are easy to use – plus its availability and on-demand access to all users. A cloud-based solution, ts features include extensive course planning, gamified learning experience for formative and summative assessments, self-assessment, social communities, virtual classrooms and OneDive integration for offline resources access.

Moreover, ITWORX Education demo-ed its learning content management system “EduShare” on Office 365, which allows education organizations to house teaching and learning resources such as lesson content, research, multimedia, and all other types of e-learning content or learning objects. It is an online platform that avails publishing, rating and reviewing around learning resources as well as certifies user-created content. With its availability on Office 365, the scope of collaboration between students and teachers is widened and there is increased access to learning resources.

Prior to BETT ME, Egypt’s Ministry of Education announced the launch of EduShare as a nationwide project in cooperation with ITWORX Education and Microsoft Egypt. This initiative is the first implementation of the Microsoft Global Alliance, which provides ITWORX Education's EduShare for free with Office 365 to public organizations. In its first phase, it is addressing 1.6 million secondary school users across the country, and involves teachers creating a full library of digital content that maps to the national curriculum. And earlier this year, the UAE’s Mohamed Bin Rashid’s Smart Learning Program announced the roll out of EduShare as an on premise solution during the upcoming academic year. This initiative will be a quantum leap to improve the quality and content of the entire learning process in the UAE. It is part of efforts taken towards the UAE’s 2021 vision to build a first rate education system.

On the first day of the event, ITWORX Education Business Development Director, Ahmed Saeed delivered a session entitled “Utilizing blended and inquiry-based learning models to prepare your students for the 21st Century”. Saeed discussed how new teaching techniques are changing how learning is experienced and delivered. “We are here in BETT Middle East to emphasize that teaching and learning are in a state of flux and to discuss and share our experiences on how to avail the best quality education through a sustainable eco-system,” shared Saeed.
