The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has been named the principle sponsor of the Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition (DGAE) which will be held under the theme 'Local Government ... Global Achievements' in implementation of a directive of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, from March 30 to April 1, 2015, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

DLD’s support comes at a time when the event has seen remarkable growth in terms of number of participants with strong participation from UAE federal government departments as well as government entities from across the region.

Exhibitors will also get the opportunity to meet global delegations participating in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2015, which will be organised by the UAE Ministry of Economy concurrently at the same venue. DLD also supports innovation, the main theme of this year’s event in line with the UAE Government’s focus for 2015.

HE Abdullah Al Shibani, Secretary-General of the Dubai Executive Council, and Chairman of Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) said: “We thank the DLD for their support to the exhibition, which is a one of its kind in the world. This sponsorship reflects the unique and close coordination among government departments in Dubai, and is a living testimony to the high levels of excellence in government work in the Emirate.”

HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, said: “We are delighted to support the Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition, that will highlight modern concepts in government work, including pursuit of excellence, innovation, creativity and technology. Dr. Ahmed Nuseirat, Coordinator General, Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP), said: "We have successfully developed Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition to attract participation of federal bodies from the UAE government and the wider region. We are confident that the show’s vision will boost its standing globally. Last year, the exhibition has effectively promoted government services offered by government departments in Dubai which participated at the show.”

Hazza Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Senior Manager of Excellence Initiatives at DGEP, said: “DGAE highlights the most notable best practices in government work. It also attracts international decision makers, making it a comprehensive platform for showcasing government performance to the entire world.”

DGAE, which has attracted over 33 participants, will be held in Halls 7 and 8 of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre over three days.
