Bawadi Mall, one of the leading tourist attractions in Al Ain, has launched its annual “Around the World in 50 Days” campaign for the 9th year in a row. The highlight is the folkloric wedding performances from 7 different countries to be staged between July 6 and August 26. In addition there will a weekly prize of a trip for two persons to Europe.

 

The campaign is expected to attract thousands of visitors keen to watch these performances. According to Bassam Saleh, the mall’s marketing manager: “This is a period when we see the highest number of tourists and residents visiting us for a phenomenal shopping experience, complemented by a variety of shows and entertainment activities targeted at different segments of society. This year the campaign coincides with Eid Al Fitr which will attract the largest number of visitors.”

 

The campaign is all about artistic acts by artists who perform their dances in perfect harmony to the beats of traditional music. Performances will take place on a weekly basis on the mall’s main stage. The campaign’s surprises don’t just stop there; Bawadi mall has arranged for a weekly prize of a trip for 2 to Europe.

 

According to Saleh: “The goal of the campaign is to offer a shopping experience blended with entertainment and education, which makes the mall a colourful venue for fun activities suited to all members of the family.  This is what made the mall a major landmark in the city, while also acting as a magnet for tourists from neighboring areas, such as the Sultanate of Oman.”
