Jotun Saudi Arabia, has unveiled 2020 Colour Design under the theme of Celebrating Colours – the collection that introduces the colours for the new decade, and will define homes around the globe. The 12 new Jotun colours of 2020 come perfectly matched with eight timeless hues, creating a celebration of colours that reflect the optimism and opportunity that the new year brings.

The new colours of 2020 and Jotun’s latest interior paint innovation “Fenomastic Wonderwall Life” were launched in the presence of Eng, Sherif Abdulmegeed, Managing Director of “Jotun” Saudi Arabia, and Esben Hersve, Regional Vice President for Jotun Middle East, India and Africa and industry experts and local media representatives, at a launch event held in the city of Riyadh on Monday the 13th of January  2020. 

 

Every year, Jotun’s colour specialists examine design trends in key global cities, look at how our lifestyles are changing in the modern world, and explore how colours influence us in urban environments. Their insights help to create a distinct palette of new shades – the colours that will define us. At the beginning of the new decade, this process takes on added significance.

The new interior paint from Jotun, “Fenomastic Wonderwall Life” brings luxurious silky walls to your home, with no smells or harmful emissions, it purifies the air by absorbing chemicals and improving air quality.  

“The launch of “Fenomastic Wonderwall Life” paint aims to bring a beneficial change to the consumers’ experience, given the high quality that the product provides. This comes as a result of studies and research conducted by "Jotun" over several years, while now, offering this unique product to the Saudi market. “Fenomastic Wonderwall Life” is the only product in the Middle East that earned the "Green Guard Gold" certificate of environment friendly products, in addition to many quality certificates, most notably the "ISO" certificate”, added Abdulmajeed.

 

The 12 new shades of 2020 Colour Design By Jotun palette each express a particular aspiration, a facet of contemporary living, or a distinct character trait. From the protective earthiness of Grounded Red 20144 to the bold and creative Statement Blue 20144, the intellectual sophistication of Wisdom20145 to the playful exuberance of Lively Red 20143, Jotun’s new colours are all designed to inspire a specific emotional reaction.

 

Alongside their emotional impact, the new colours have also been designed with practicality in mind. The Jotun team have matched each of the 12 shades with colours from the Timeless range – a collection of eight existing shades chosen for their enduring appeal and versatility. 

 

2020 Colour Design By Jotun includes details of effective colour combinations, allowing users to mix and match colours to express their identities and aspirations. To address the fact that, often, the full impact of a colour can be gauged only once it has been applied, Jotun has developed Jotun Colour Assurance, a method of ensuring that every colour shown in the card appears exactly as it would on the wall – so there are never any unpleasant surprises.
